Ms. Lopez and Ms. Spikes are an integral part of the Cedars International High School Team and we are truly thankful for all they do to keep things running smoothly around campus!

Our Spring Festival is right around the corner on Friday, May 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.! Wristbands are on sale now! We’ll have carnival games, a video game bus, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more! In addition, we still need donated cakes, cupcakes, 2-liter sodas, and items for loteria baskets.

Cedars International Academy hosted a successful Central Texas Middle School Esports Tournament on April 19, 2024, creating an unforgettable experience for our students. Congratulations to our 7th grader, Ms. Alyssa Cyphers, our first-time ESports Champion!! Huge kudos to Mr. Schneider, Mr. Hammontree, and Mr. Solis on introducing ESports to the middle school students. Here's to many more successful hosting gigs in the future!

We thank Huntington Learning Center, Austin Creative Reuse, and Texas Touch Photography LLC for a fantastic teacher supply drive at Cedars International Academy on Friday, April 19. The teachers and students will benefit from all the supplies.

Touring musician Ms. Mirka Novak from the Czech Republic visited Cedars International Academy and shared with the students how to use voice as music.

Your presence and support meant a lot to us as we recognized the incredible talents within our school community. It was an amazing event as we celebrated excellence and achievement at our Cedars award assembly, recognizing the dedication, hard work, outstanding efforts, and remarkable talents of our students. Together, we shape a community where success is celebrated and dreams are nurtured.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and supports developed by this collaboration can help parents, other caregivers, and communities protect children and strengthen families.

Cedars PK-2nd grade students, teachers, and staff came together to boost morale, uplift spirit, and show support for 3-8th graders taking the STAAR test creating an electrifying atmosphere of school pride coming together as a community and celebrating the school spirit in a fun and energetic way.

We are hosting a bake sale next week after school! All items will be $1 - $5 and funds will go to Student Councils fundraising efforts. This year we are fundraising for new furniture for the Great Room. If you would like to purchase any items please bring cash. The after school sale will run Monday to Thursday from 4:05 - 4:20 and Friday 1:30 - 1:50.

We need your help in thanking our teachers. We will be showering teachers with a variety of thank-you gifts. We are asking for you to donate $10 to support Teacher Appreciation. Please turn in $10 to school by Thursday, April 11, 2024. All students that donate will receive a N.U.T. Day pass & HOUSE POINTS.
